Arts Education Work

2021 - present

Northfield Mount Hermon School -Teaching Artist

Guide students in their exploration of social responsibility, artistic expression, and self-actualization through the study of advanced and intermediate Honors Ballet Technique and Theory as well as beginning Jazz. Train, direct and compose work for the Junior Dance Company. Partner with other teaching artists to produce three dance concerts per year. "Engage [students'] intellect, compassion, and talents, empowering them to act with humanity and purpose."

Motor City Dance Factory - Instructor/Company Director

Teach ballet and jazz to beginning to advanced level dancers. Choreograph dances for competitions and showcases throughout season. Coordinate performances and competitions for company members. Recital planning, production, and execution. Evaluate progress of students to determine proper placement for upcoming season.

2017

White Werx Residency: University of North Carolina - Charlotte  - White Werx Director’s Assistant

Assist Company Director in developing, teaching, and rehearsing choreography and teach master class to dance department students.

White Werx Residency: Eastern Michigan University - White Werx Rehearsal Director

Assist Company Director in teaching original choreography. Rehearse original work for upcoming performances on behalf of White Werx. Oversee student work and report progress to university faculty

University Prep - After School Dance Instructor

Introduce students (grades 9 - 12) to movement fundamentals of ballet and lyrical. Choreograph and rehearse dances for school performances.

White Werx Residency: Oakland University -  Rehearsal Director

Audition dancers and cast piece on behalf of White Werx. Teach and rehearse piece for upcoming performances on behalf of White Werx. Oversee student work and report progress to university faculty

PACE Academy - After School Dance Instructor

Introduce students (grades 1 - 5) to different movement styles. Choreograph dance for final performance.

Mosaic Youth Theatre of Detroit First Stage  Summer Camp - Director of Dance

Introduce campers (ages 5-12) to different movement styles. Choreograph dances for final performance. Direct rehearsals for culminating  musical performance.
